The North East and Hartlepool specifically has been allocated leveling up funding to improve town facilities. Having already secured millions in funding, our project would aim to bid for another investment in Hartlepool's key areas. Along with this, we expect to be able to secure a mix of private and council funding.
Our project has been planned with an important aim of keeping costs low, prefering to make the most of the incredible architecture already standing, improving the existing environment. Our refurbishment approach saves money and avoids ignoring the array of problems Hartlepool already faces and moving the attention away from deprived areas like building a new zone may cause.
The greatest valued contribution at this point in planning however is not money, but public and business consultation, which means we can design a tailor made plan to maximise efficiency later down the line.
